    Jan. 14, 2013 - Canadian Solar Inc. today announced that its subsidiary, Canadian Solar Solutions Inc., has signed a 10MW AC Module Supply Agreement with Algonquin Power Co. ("APCo"), to provide Canadian Solar modules for a utility-scale solar power project in Cornwall, Ontario. Construction is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2013, with the project expected to be fully operational by the fourth quarter of 2013.

    Jan. 14, 2013 - Trina Solar Limited today announced that it has obtained approval from the Gansu Provincial Development and Reform Commission to develop a 50MW grid-connected solar power plant project in Wuwei, Gansu. The project is expected to support economic stimulus in a region challenged by semi-desert conditions. The Wuwei municipality is well-suited for solar energy production due to favorable irradiance and the ability to sell off electricity to other regions in addition to supplying local needs.

    DayStar Technologies收购希腊七座光伏电站

    Jan 10, 2013 - DayStar Technologies, Inc. (DSTI) has entered into a lock-up agreement to acquire solar projects from Arxikon Construction Company in Greece. The 7 parks are 1MWp each and are located in industrial areas in Northern Greece. Electricity revenues from the projects are through long-term feed in tariff contracts and will cash flow approximately $75,000,000 Euros over 20 years (beginning at approximately $3.9M Euro per year). The electricity sales contracts have a consumer price index increase clause. This lock-up agreement allows DayStar 200 days to complete its due diligence, regulatory approvals, and financing.
