Enel Green Power España has begun construction of three solar plants with an overall capacity of around 127MW in the municipalities of Casas de Don Pedro and Talarrubias. The three PV facilities, Navalvillar, Valdecaballero and Castilblanco, will have an installed capacity of more than 42MW each and will involve an overall investment of approximately 100 million euros. -

Nautilus Solar Energy, LLC today announced the acquisition of a 9MW community solar development portfolio from Power52 Energy Solutions. This portfolio is comprised of four separate projectslocated outside of Baltimore. Each projectis qualified under Maryland's community solar pilot program and are in the Baltimore Gas & Electric service territory. The portfolio is expected to be constructed and energized in 2019. -

The Sunraysia Solar Farm will deliver power to AGL (Australia Gas and Light) Energy via a 15-year contract. -

Engie signed a 15-year PPA in Mexico to supply renewable energy to steel producer, Gerdau. The Group is developing a 130MW photovoltaic plant in Sonora, northern Mexico composed of approximately 400,000 solar panels, which will provide Gerdau with a 100% clean and economic source of energy for its industrial processes. -

EDF Renewables and Canadian Solar Inc. today announced their jointly-owned 399MW Pirapora solar complex in Brazil has successfully raised a total of 1.39 billion Brazilian reais (US$373 million) via multiple project finance sources. EDF Renewables owns 80% of the complex while Canadian Solar owns the remaining 20% stake.
