REC Silicon ASA reported fourth quarter 2018 revenues of USD 48.9 million, compared to 43.7 million in the third quarter. The corresponding EBITDA during the quarter was a loss of USD 3.8 million compared to a loss of USD 6.1 million in the previous quarter. Polysilicon sales volume for the quarter was 1,270 MT compared to 658 MT in the prior quarter, while inventory decreased by 26 MT. -

Better Energy will soon begin the installation of rooftop solar panels on five of Logicenters' logistics facilities in Denmark. In total, the solar panels are estimated to produce 5.9GWh of green energy per year. Logicenters won the Danish Energy Agency's 2018 tender to install rooftop solar panels on five logistics facilities across Denmark. Integrating clean energy is in line with Logicenters' approach to sustainable development and demonstrates their commitment to the community and customers in a very visible way. -

Meyer Burger Technology Ltd announced today that it will sell its photovoltaic and specialised materials (e.g. semiconductor and sapphire glass industries) wafering equipment and service business to Precision Surfacing Solutions (PSS) (formerly Lapmaster Wolters Ltd). As part of the transaction, significant parts of Meyer Burger's current production facilities in Thun as well as around 100 employees involved in the wafering technology portfolio in Thun and the relevant service locations worldwide will also be transferred to PSS. Completion of the contract is subject to standard closing conditions. The closing of the transaction is expected to be completed towards the end of the first quarter of 2019. The agreed purchase price is CHF 50 million in cash, which represents approximately one times net sales of the wafering equipment business. The contract also includes an earn-out component based on certain revenue levels in 2019. Both Meyer Burger and PSS view the transaction as an important strategic milestone, which will further strengthen two global technology leaders. -

Edisun Power Europe收购葡萄牙49兆瓦光伏电站
Edisun Power has signed a contract to acquire a 49MW photovoltaic construction project in north-eastern Portugal. The project is being sold by Smartenergy Invest AG. The closing of the sale is subject to customary market conditions and should be completed in the second quarter of 2019 at the latest.
