    SolarWorld公布2013上半年财务结果

    August 14, 2013 - SolarWorld AG has confirmed preliminary figures reported on July 18, 2013. During the first half of 2013, the company sold fewer solar power modules and kits than in the same period last year. Groupwide shipments, including the solar wafer business, reached 233MW in the period (H1 2012: 334MW). Declining shipments and persistent price pressure due to dumped modules have reduced consolidated revenue, compared with the first half of last year. SolarWorld achieved total revenue of about € 201 (H1 2012: € 340) million including the wafer business.

    August 13, 2013 - Spire Corporation today reported revenues from continuing operations for the second-quarter ended June 30, 2013 of $3.6 million, a 46% decrease from $6.6 million for the same quarter of 2012. This decline is primarily due to a decrease of $2.8 million in individual module equipment units delivered during the second-quarter of fiscal year 2013 as overcapacity in the global market continues to adversely affect the entire PV industry.

    Aug. 13, 2013 - Borrego Solar Systems today announced that it has entered into an agreement to sell 5.5MW DC of solar energy projects to Greenwood Energy. The projects will be designed and built by Borrego Solar in the cities of Gardner and Walpole, Mass., and are just entering the construction phase. The power purchase agreement (PPA) contracts will be owned and serviced by Greenwood Energy. Financial terms of the sale were not disclosed.

    Aleo solar公布2013上半年度报告：收入同比下降58.9%

    August 13, 2013 - aleo solar AG today announced that it generated revenue of EUR 68.3 million in the first six months of 2013. This means that aleo solar's revenue decreased by 58.9% compared to the first half of 2012 (EUR 166.4 million). Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) came in at EUR –29.3 million (EUR –23.5 million), and the EBIT margin was –42.9 percent (–14.1 percent). Earnings per share amounted to EUR –2.54 (EUR –1.87).

    August 13, 2013 - SUNSELEX AG in Germany has filed for insolvency on August 1st at the Magistrate Court in Munich, due to a possible loss of liquidity. The core mechanical business unit was unable to operate profitably in the local market. For months there has been an effort to reduce the local workforce, however, due to continued negative market development in realization of projects, the management was forced to pull out of the German market altogether. As interim insolvency administrator the Court selected the experienced legal expert, Dr. Philip Heinke, of JAFFÉ attorneys, specializing in international corporate insolvency law.

    SolarCity拟收购Paramount Solar

    August 13, 2013 - SolarCity and Paramount GR Holding, LLC, dba Paramount Equity, today announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement for SolarCity to acquire the assets of Paramount Energy Solutions, LLC dba Paramount Solar, a subsidiary of Paramount Equity, in a transaction valued at approximately $120 million. Under the terms of the agreement, SolarCity will acquire the Paramount Solar business for $116.3 million in stock, and the remainder in cash. Paramount Equity CEO Hayes Barnard will join SolarCity as chief revenue officer in charge of the company's sales and marketing organizations upon closing of the acquisition.
